Privacy notice

This notice explains how the website handles estimate requests, project photos, and customer reviews.

Estimate requests stay private

The estimate form collects your name, phone number, property address, selected service, and any email address, project details, or photos you choose to provide. JB’s uses these details to discuss your project, availability, and an estimate. Sending a request gives JB’s permission to contact you about that project.

These submissions are stored in the website’s database. Uploaded photos are stored separately in private file storage. Customer details and uploads are accessible through the owner’s signed-in inbox; they are not published in the website gallery. When supported by your browser, photos are resized before sending. Avoid uploading sensitive information you don’t need to share.

Website reviews are public

Your first name, star rating, review text, and submission date are displayed publicly when you submit a website review. Please leave out property addresses, phone numbers, and other private details. Ratings from 1 to 5 stars are accepted. Spam, unrelated content, or private information may be removed; a low rating alone is not a reason for removal.

Reports of a review record the reason and date for the owner to review. Reporting does not automatically hide a review. Website reviews are separate from reviews posted on Google.

Spam protection and website services

The website uses a daily fingerprint derived from a visitor’s IP address to limit repeated estimate submissions, reviews, and reports. The application stores that fingerprint rather than the raw IP address. Hosting providers may separately process IP addresses and other request information needed to operate the website.

The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare, including Cloudflare database and file storage services. The owner signs in with ChatGPT to access private records. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the information needed to deliver them. This website does not add advertising trackers.

Links to Google and online payments

The Google review link opens Google, where Google’s privacy rules apply. Online payments, when offered, take place through the secure link in your individual invoice. This website’s estimate form does not collect payment card details.

Retention, corrections, and deletion

Estimate requests and uploads remain in the business inbox until the owner deletes them. Reviews and their reports remain until removed. Contact Jonah to request a correction or deletion and provide enough information to identify the submission. Deleting an estimate request from the owner inbox removes its contact details, notes, and uploaded photos. Deleting a website review removes the review and its reports. Records exported or kept separately by the business are handled separately.
